- Positive Reflections of 23 Aug 2023 | Brahma Kumaris
โฆ Reflections 2023-08-23 8 Powers To Experience Success (Part 3) โฆ โจ The list of different situations that we go through in the entire day is endless. Of course, the powers required in all the different situations are different. Sometimes not just one or two but all the eight powers, to different extents, are required to experience success. We have to bring the power into action. There are three stages of bringing a power into action. โคThe first step is realizing that in a particular situation I need a particular spiritual power and being sure as to which that power is or powers are. For this, I need a calm mind and a pure intellect and also an experience of the past of having gone through different types of situations of the mind, body, role and relationships. E.g. if someoneโs behavior is not very positive towards me, in such a situation, to experience success, I need the power to tolerate and accommodate. โAt the same time, in such situations, it is not wise to use the power to face i.e. being bold and trying to face the other person. I need to know that I have to face the situation, not the person, which could spoil the situation. So, I need to be clear about my choices and need to be sure as to which of the eight powers I should use. A wrong choice of power can mean a negative situation becomes more negative and a right choice can lead to a solution to a problem. โคThen, the second step is to emerge that power inside my consciousness. This depends on how my sanskaras have been filled with these eight powers over a long period of time. Of course, all people have all eight powers to a little extent at least, but some peopleโs sanskaras of the powers are deeper than the others and so they are able to emerge the powers more easily. โAlso, after that, the last step is implementing the power and bringing it into action. This means that the power does not only emerge in my mind, but it shows through my thoughts, words, and actions. (To be continued tomorrow...) Suggested Link โ "Affirmations For Success"

This is a verse-by-verse clarification of the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ heard from the Buddha himself. Dhammapad is the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ of Buddha's teachings, which are collected in the voluminous ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ. Dhammapada means "๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐", the path of harmony and righteousness that anyone can follow to reach the highest good. This classic Buddhist scripture is a collection of vivid, practical verses gathered from direct disciples who wanted to preserve what they had heard from the Buddha himself. In the comprehensive introduction, he brings the story of the young Prince Siddhartha and his heroic spiritual quest vividly to life. His overview of the Buddha's teachings is reliable, penetrating, and accessible. The Buddha rejected superstition on the one hand and philosophical speculation on the other. He taught the path to the end of suffering and showed how we can achieve lasting joy. In The Dhammapada he spells out our choices with a refreshing realism and frankness. - Be Humble & Give Regard | Brahma Kumaris Messages
โฆMessages 2024-06-14 โฆ โจ Be Humble & Give Regard To All Every society and even every family follows certain rules in behaviors. They serve as a code of conduct for us, to give regard to people based on their roles and positions. Having rules in place for how we give regard, treat, behave, and reciprocate to people in certain roles, is vital to maintaining the dignity of that role. Sometimes our ego does not allow us to follow these set rules, especially if we had an unpleasant experience or hold a negative impression about people. Following rules strengthens us and our relationships. 1 โ Acquaint yourself with the rules and regards followed at different levels: within your family, society, faith, or country. Learn by asking and observing. 2 โ Check your views about the people you know. Start with those older than you, holding higher positions, doing better than you, or getting appreciation. If there are thoughts of jealousy, inferiority, or indifference, counsel your mind โ Offering regard for their role and position is my responsibility. 3 โ Be humble even with someone younger in age, lower, or equal in role. Even if others treat them differently, be courteous to them. 4 โ When you give regard, the positivity created helps you develop goodwill. Being nice to people, no matter what they do, is a sign of strength. Let your morality win over your ego. - Be Emotional or Not? (Part 1) | Brahma Kumaris Messages
โฆMessages 2023-09-06 โฆ โจ Should We Be Emotional or Not? (Part 1) Living a life full of twists and turns and different scenes, it is very easy to become emotionally attached to scenes happening around you and sometimes become disheartened or sorrowful and sometimes even emotionally joyful. Both are normal emotions. Yes we thought so! What is wrong with experiencing pain when we watch an accident on the road and what is wrong with becoming emotional and crying, when we watch a moving emotion filled movie. How can you take away these two experiences from life? The world told us they are correct. โคWhen we grew up, we often cried, sometimes in sorrow and many a times in joy. Did you go to your best friendโs birthday and become excessively emotional and when your younger brother or sister went down with fever, you sometimes cried seeing his or her pain. Our parents taught us this is what life is all about โ mixed shades of emotional joy and emotional sorrow make up the painting of life. In fact, we grew up seeing them doing that in their worldly duties and we thought it was correct. Now! Wait a moment! Do I like sitting on this emotional roller-coaster so regularly and so much? How can I free myself? โคWe all look at lifeโs scenes with an attitude of receiving or taking something from life. We rarely think of giving to lifeโs scenes. Take the example of the sun in nature. The quality of the sun is giving, it never seeks to receive or take. And it is a powerful force of nature. Letโs emerge this virtue in ourselves. That will make us emotionally powerful inside and I will be lighter, happier and more contented in lifeโs different situations. โคSo from today look to give to lifeโs different scenes and filling them with the primary qualities of life โ peace, love and joy. On the other hand, if we are trying to fill ourselves with these qualities by taking them from people and situations, we will become emotionally weak. (To be continued tomorrow...) So just like a tree that is laden with fruit, bowing down and offering all it has humbly, the one who is full is ready for service. He is available for others to take benefit from whatever resources are there with him. This humility earns respect from others and gives happiness to all. Experience : When I am able to bow down with the awareness of what I have, I am fully in the stage of my self-respect. the more I am able to bow, the more others also bow down with regard to me and respect my fortune. This enables me to be a giver to those around me and experience contentment - constantly. Previous Next day

- Celebrating Raksha Bandhan (Part 3) | Brahma Kumaris Messages
โฆMessages 2023-08-30 โฆ โจ Celebrating Raksha Bandhan With True Divinity (Part 3) The festival of Raksha Bandhan begins with exchange of greetings, applying tilak, tying the sacred thread, offering sweets and then exchanging gifts. 1 โ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ โ Our every thought and word for everyone should be a blessing. Irrespective of their sanskars and behaviours, we create only pure and positive thoughts and words which empower them to change their sanskars. We radiate blessings to them which become their reality and change their destiny. Let us delete all the past hurt that we are still holding on to, because they have radiated impure and negative vibrations to us. 2 โ ๐ง๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ธ โ We apply the tilak at the center of the forehead, as a reminder to open the third eye, the seat of the soul. Applying tilak means to awaken to the reality that I am not this body, roles and relationships. I am a divine soul and each one I interact with is the same. This finishes our body consciousness of everything that we have acquired in this life. Body consciousness is the foundation of all vices. Soul consciousness is the foundation of all virtues. 3 โ ๐๐๐ค๐ก๐ข โ Rakhi is derived from the word Raksha, meaning protection. Tying a rakhi is symbolic of our pledge to use our original sanskars of purity and love in every thought, word and action, which is our protection. When it remains tied on our wrist, a Rakhi is a reminder about the promise we have made to our own self and God. 4 โ ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ โ It is a reminder that our thoughts, feelings, intentions and words must always be sweet. This creates harmony in our relationships. 5 โ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐๐ โ Let us choose any addiction, habit or sanskar which has been troubling us and give it up on this Raksha Bandhan. This is the best gift we can give ourselves, our family and to God. Suggested Link โ Article on "Raksha Bandhan" Message for Today "The one with humility is the one who can be creative" Expression : Creativity comes to the extent that the intellect is humble. Such an intellect is able to create something new. Because humility is a form of love , it brings enthusiasm for creativity and the ability to bring newness to everything that is done. Experience : Humility gives me an experience of being a master, of being powerful . This power comes from the experience of being a constant learner because I have no ego about what I already have. This mastery makes me creative, making me bring newness to everything I do. Previous Next day
