You might have this question in mind, after listening to or reading the gyan Murli... Baba has said in the Sakar Murlis: "The father gives you his inheritance of peace, purity, love, and happiness. Ravana gives you his inheritance of vices and sorrow". But it is important to understand what this Ravana is, and how it all happens from the copper age.
Q: Who Gives Us Vices & Sorrow?
The following was our written answer to the above question, posted on our WhatsApp group Samadhan (God Answers) in May 2024. Join group
Ravana gives us the five vices and sorrow.
โ๏ธNope... that was a pull, not the answer. But that is how children are taught. Stories are made with a hero (the good side) and a villain (the bad side) > in order to give a message. Here, entity called Ravana is made up in stories to represent the "vices" and "weaknesses" present in all human beings. While Rama represents the "goodness" and "virtues" in all of us.
๐ฑThe right answer to your question is: "โ๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ค ๐ฆ๐ค ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ง๐๐๐๐ค ๐ ๐ฃ ๐ค๐ ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ ๐จ"
๐Just as no one can give you "darkness" > because darkness does not exist >> it is merely an absence of light > where light does not reach.
But darkness can be created--by restricting the flow of light.
๐When the soul "forgets" its original nature, that it is "light" (๐๐ ๐๐ค๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ค๐๐๐ค๐ค)... and falsely identifies itself as the physical body (matter) which is visible outside > it is just like restricting that light. This creates the seed of all illusion (Maya). Body-consciousness is the root of all vices.
๐ชปThe light of the soul is the virtues of When we do not act with these original virtues, we create ๐๐๐๐๐ for darkness to exist (as an absence of this light)
๐ชดThis darkness is what we call vices (absence of virtues). We allow these mainly 5 vices (anger, lust, greed, ego, attachment) to make home in our mind when we forget our true identity >> ๐ฝ๐ ๐ฃ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ก๐๐: Unless you forget that "๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐" > you cannot experience what anger is.
๐ฟTherefore, a good way to not experience sorrow >> is by not acting under these vices.
โ HOW?
Answer: By having a constant "remembrance" of WHO AM I and with experiencing this soul-conscious stage. As long as you remain in this stage, Maya (the vices) cannot enter your mind. For this reason affirmations (swamaan abhyas) is very helpful. This practise keeps us in the "๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐" of being the SOUL and also aware of the virtues (๐๐๐๐๐๐ข, ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ข).
๐Good... so we have explained this in simplest terms so a child can understand. There are broader concepts to understand, so i ask the members of this group to always read all of my responses (they are meant for everyone)
