Many of us struggles in controlling emotions, particularly the feeling of "fear" is manifestated in many parts of our lives. The emotion of fear has many further branches: greed, ego, and attachment are major ones.
There are also many forms of fear: Mainly categorised into 2 forms as:
Rational (with a cause or reason)
Irrational (no cause or logic)
Out of these, the rational fear like "fear of death" for example, is but important in order to protect yourself from the possible dangers. Therefore, allowing this as a human nature, we shall skip to the next form. Let us see how to deal with & overcome irrational fears.

🌱If you are an old member of Samadhan group, you would know that we have written about "𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊 𝙳𝚛𝚊𝚖𝚊" and we SOULS are actors here... and we are eternal beings of consciousness, the SOUL. We cannot be destroyed or harmed by any means of this world. Our body is perishable, but the self is eternal (never born, never cease to exist). This is written in many scriptures and holy books. But the very lack of "awareness" of our real-sefl, brings us the kinds of emotions such as fear.
Cause of Fear
We shall first look at the very source of "fear" > that is > body-consciousness (false indentification of being this physical body). When we forget that the self is a SOUL, an eternal consciousness, we mistakenly associate our identity with this physical body, a costume that we wear in order to experience life in this corporeal world.
Tip: Watch our short film: "WHO AM I"
🌿Knowing that ME, the SOUL is eternal >> I was never born and so would never die or end. Second, the physical body we take when we are born >> this body is merely an extension of our own energy >> the soul's energy translates into a physical form, allowing us to experience this physical world of 5 elements (𝕤𝕠𝕚𝕝, 𝕨𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣, 𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖, 𝕒𝕚𝕣, 𝕤𝕡𝕒𝕔𝕖) and 5 senses (𝕤𝕖𝕖, 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕣, 𝕤𝕞𝕖𝕝𝕝, 𝕥𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖, 𝕥𝕠𝕦𝕔𝕙)

Solution: The 9 Steps
While it may not be possible to completely eliminate fear, there are strategies you can use to manage and overcome it. Here are some steps you can take:
1. Acknowledge and understand your fear
Take the time to identify and acknowledge the specific fear or fears you are experiencing. Understand why you are afraid and what triggers your fear response. This self-awareness is an essential first step towards overcoming fear.
2. Educate yourself
Learn more about the object, situation, or activity that triggers your fear. Knowledge and understanding can help you see things in a different light and reduce fear. Seek reliable information, read books, talk to experts, or consult with professionals who can provide accurate insights.
3.Take small steps
Gradually expose yourself to the source of your fear in a controlled manner. Start with small, manageable steps that push you slightly outside your comfort zone. For example, if you have a fear of public speaking, you could begin by speaking in front of a small group of friends or family before gradually speaking in front of larger audiences.
4. Practice relaxation techniques
Fear often triggers physical and emotional responses like increased heart rate, shallow breathing, and anxiety. Practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, yoga, or progressive muscle relaxation can help calm your mind and body, making it easier to face your fears.
5. Challenge negative thoughts
Fear is often fueled by negative thoughts and catastrophic thinking. Challenge those thoughts by questioning their validity and replacing them with more positive and realistic ones. Remind yourself of past successes and focus on your strengths and abilities.
6. Seek support
Share your fears with someone you trust, such as a friend, family member, or therapist. Talking about your fears can provide emotional support, different perspectives, and practical advice. You might discover that others have experienced similar fears and learn from their experiences.
7. Set realistic goals
Establish realistic goals to gradually work towards overcoming your fear. Break down the process into smaller, achievable steps, and celebrate your progress along the way. This approach will help you maintain motivation and build confidence.
8. Visualize success
Use the power of visualization to imagine yourself successfully overcoming your fear. Visualize the desired outcome and how you will feel once you have conquered your fear. This technique can help build confidence and create a positive mindset.
9. Take care of yourself
Ensure you prioritize self-care by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Get regular exercise, eat a balanced diet, get enough sleep, and manage stress levels. Taking care of your physical and mental well-being will strengthen your overall resilience and ability to face your fears.
Remember: Overcoming fear takes time and effort. Be patient with yourself and celebrate each step forward, no matter how small it may seem. If your fear persists or significantly impacts your daily life, intensify the practise of meditation and personal efforts, while also consider taking emotional support from your family and friends.
Heal Overthinking Issue
🌳Another major cause of fear is "𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛-𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐" and the cause of gave waste-thoughts (those which lacks a meaning) is 𝕓𝕠𝕕𝕪-𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤. In fact, the root of every problem you may are facing is "body consciousness" (𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕗𝕒𝕝𝕤𝕖 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕡𝕙𝕪𝕤𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕝 𝕓𝕠𝕕𝕪 while forgetting our spiritual identity)
🍀Also what you watch, hear and read every day (taking information from media) contributes to our consciousness. In fact, it deeply shapes our thinking. Our thoughts are definitely influenced by the information we intake. So you need to 𝕓𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕗𝕦𝕝.
🌴It is important to intake POSITIVE information. Here we suggest you to watch our Awakening TV channel.
☝️This is the root cause of why you have this fear developed. While it could also be a long-held sanskar of overthinking... Hence the FIRST STEP of the solution is to stop reading, listening or watching anything which cultivates a feeling of 'fear' in you.

🌱The SECOND step is to "𝕕𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕝𝕠𝕡 ℙ𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝔼𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕘𝕪 & ℙ𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘"
👉You should consciously create POSITIVE thoughts about everything: your life, health, family, situation and hope for a better future. Sending a soul blessings, peace and love is the most direct way to empower them.
🌹This would be a "conscious practise" to transform every negative thought into positive. 𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕖𝕩𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕝𝕖: If a negative thought comes "what if i fall ill or die", then instantly replace that thought with a positive & powerful affirmative thought "my health is perfect... my body is healthy & powerful"
☝️Do this practise every time and make it a "natural way of living".
